Title: How make volume lower on Ocarinas

Hi guys,

Ocarinas are great, but I think when you playing in your room ocarina sound is loudly a little.
I just whant to tell you how possible to make sound lower.

Could you please give more information?
From what I can see it looks like you've put some kind of tape on the fipple and it seems like a good idea to me! I might try it later.

Yes you are right just put tape with a sticky layer on the whistle.
It's sound not an excellent, but sometimes it's helpfull.

I would like to know more about it and try it to compare this solution with the straw one.
Satin, perhaps you are not aware that Karl found a way to silence the ocarina pretty well too: http://www.ocarinaboard.com/bb/index.php?topic=208.0
(the italian version is shorter and says the same of the english one)  ;D

Better if use few layers of tape
