I couldn't fail to disagree with you less.

I just discovered JamStudio, which is a web-based tool for creating tracks with guitar and keyboard chords, and drum patterns.  It's pretty interesting, and I think I can do a better job with it than I can with a midi editor, when I need to cobble some background music together.  I've been working on one for "The Lonesome Boatman," to replace the lousy one I posted a while back.  JamStudio is fairly rock-oriented, and it's limited in what you can do with it.  It only has 4/4 time, and only the most basic chords.  But sometimes that's all you need.

Coming soon: three beats per measure.

Neat. Most of the tunes I play are in 3/4.
