Some nice slow Irish airs arranged to fit nicely on a C instrument ... the sort of thing that sounds well in an "echo-ey" environment, especially with a few "twiddley bits" thrown in for good measure  Cool

Please someone remind me how to convert the above code into sheet music. Thank for the tunes too.
I do think I'm old school in not knowing about this coded music and/or tabs..

There's a utility somewhere on these forums, http://octabs.appspot.com/abcin/ , to convert ABC into "Mountain Ocarina Tab", else there are several freeware utilities, I use ABC Explorer on my PC, that'll play the music, transpose it into a different key (if required) AND enable you to produce an image of conventional "dots on a stave" for printing (or display on your monitor) ... enjoy  Cool

I usually use ABC Convert-A-Matic. It generates nice printable PDFs for you.

I use http://www.folkinfo.org/songs/abcconvert.php, which outputs PDF and also allows you to transpose.

Thank you both very much! Works like a charm...now if only I could play them HA! I've had this little instrument for a bit over a week now and find it very very addictive. Cumberland Crew won't leave my head---tried finding some substitutes (Time to Say Goodbye,Ashokan Fairwell, etc.) that I've always liked but so far not great luck.
If you know of a neat jig that would help Smiley

Can't find any Irish or Scottish tunes purporting to be jigs that'll fit onto an Ocarina easily, but here's a couple of Welsh tunes, probably variants of each other, they both have similar titles and don't sound dissimilar - I prefer the second  Smiley
