I am a long time lover of the ABC format. It is so easy to type your music into, it transfers from one computer and best of all you can print out music for your song book.

I'm a long time Mac user and recommend Barfly for your computer. For the iPhone and iPad look into Tunebook. I know that there are programs for the PC. Please feel free to share the programs that work for you.

A search will reveal many sites where you can download songs.

I love sharing my songs that I have entered on my computer and will happily share any thing I have. I do know that we are enjoined to only share what is in the public domain. If there is something that you are looking for please feel free to ask.

Looking through Wikipedia on "ABC notation", I found this:

http://music.gordfisch.net/montrealsession/editor.php

It's an online ABC editor - I've tried it with a couple of the songs posted here, and it works pretty well!
