I was at the beach today, Crystal Cove, CA, and I recorded two songs with my iPhone. The first is Parting Glass, and the second was
Melancholy, By The Sea (which is my own song). So here goes... Roll Eyes

I know  Roll Eyes   I"m trying to fix it- having a little trouble figuring out how to do it. They are recorded on my iPhone.

Prairie Wolf- My songs are only only a minuet and 1/2 long- but it says the file is too large. I'm stumped on how to upload them. Can you tell me how?

You need to upload them to a place where you can share them with others. If you have a website, you could upload them there.

If not, you could use Soundcloud - it is free - https://soundcloud.com/
Or, to upload songs and just about anything else for free - and use it kind of like a separate hard drive or a flash drive, but the files are stored for you - use Dropbox, and you can share anything you store there, if you choose - Always have your stuff when you need it with @Dropbox. Hi Prairie Wolf,
I tried on drop box- the file is still to large- sigh-  Roll Eyes  Well I'll have to look into other options. Maybe I can figure out how to convert it to a video and put it on You Tube. I just haven't had much experience doing this, but I'll have MORE experience once I figure this out.

Try Soundcloud!

Question: Is it just a sound file? Or did you record video, as well?

If it is video - send it to me and I'll see what I can do with it.  tucker.furguy@gmail.com

Thanks so much Prairie Wolf- I made a video, for You Tube, with my audio by adding pictures. If this doesn't work I'll send it to you. The audio part ends very abruptly Sad Not sure how to fix it yet.

Okay I just listened to the first one, I have heard it played and sung by Celtic woman. YUH DID GREAT.....  I love tht song. I know its taken me awhile to get back in here, my apologies.  The Celtic woman group use that song as a way to close their shows. I loved you somewhat slower version.

Nice work. I liked the sound you've reached. It reminded of Star of the County Down. Of course, they're both irish tunes so perhaps that should be expected Smiley
