Please forgive me if this seems like pestering, but I was wondering if there was any status update? Haven't heard anything for a while. We value the hard work you are putting into this project, Carl, and I don't want to pull you away from it, but if there's any quick update you might be able to jot down, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm guessing you are just working through different stages and sometimes have holdups as you have mentioned before.

Thanks,
Ethan

Karl has made some progress.  He posted some stuff on the CODA advisory board forum, but since he didn't post it here I won't either.

I still check the board every couple days hoping for some sort of update, even if it's just to say that nothing's ready yet, but the project is still alive. I am also signed up for the email alerts, but that's also been completely silent for a couple months. I hope everything is okay with Karl and co. Still really looking forward to owning one of these some day!

Is there any update that is available for those of us that are not part of the CODA forum? We haven't heard anything for almost 10 months.

Thanks

We haven't heard anything on the beta testers forum in months.  Sorry..   Maybe Karl will tell us something one day.

Edit. The last update from Karl was in April.

I ordered the Celtic songbook in early October, mentioned that I was worried about the Coda project, and got this reply from Susan Ahrens. Fingers crossed:

Thank you for your order and for your concern about Coda.  I can understand your worry as we have been very focused on getting Coda ready and have not shared much recently!

I wanted to let you know that Coda is still in the works--we hope to have them ready to sell before the end of the year and will be posting updates as soon as we have details. Karl has been working hard to work out the production and recent breakthroughs are encouraging, but since it has been a patient process he hasn't had much to say in a post.

Thanks for understanding!

I just ordered as well.  I knew it was going to happen soon.  I just thought that Karl would make the announcement on here .  I wonder why he is doing a different website?

One thing that you do need to keep in mind is that the fingering for the CODA is different to the Mountain Ocarina for the sharps and flats so you will have a bit of a learning curve when you make the switch.
