It's been awhile since I've heard your playing, but from comparison with memory I thought your tone improved.  Some slight problems with timing though...

I couldn't fail to disagree with you less.

I agree, the tone is much improved.  Timing takes a lot of work, especially a cappella.

I'm trying to learn this one by heart, using tabs, memory and some other youtube postings. I have also posted this using my Japanese Oc as well, once I get it memorized I hope to get the timing issues ironed out.

Thank you so much for the help!

Dave

Very nice.
I was wondering where you got the music from?

I would like to try it myself.  I like that Japanese/Zen style of music.

Thanks,
Nathan.

I got sheet music from www.theocarinanetwork.com and then made the tabs myself that I use. And because I'm using tabs I have only my memory on how the timing should go. But I'm working on learning it... My youtube channel has many bits of my learning the Ocarina all styles.

Thanks so much!

Dave

I set up a site to share public domain stuff I'm using to help me play the MO.
http://sites.google.com/site/ocarinastuff/

I've got sheet music for Sakura there, but you will need (free) Finale Reader http://www.finalemusic.com/Reader/Default.aspx to open the file.

Direct link to the Sakura download (warning - if you click it, it'll download the file):
http://sites.google.com/site/ocarinastuff/finale-notepad-files-1/Sakura.mus?attredirects=0

I worked out the version of Sakura based on this fellow's rendition.
